My name is Dawit Tekeste. I am a 4th year Mechanical Engineer student at the University of California, Merced. I was born and raised in a small town called Gondar, Ethiopia. I migrated to the states in 2007. I have experienced many challenges in my life in order for me to be in the position I am today. I thrive from challenges. Most of my peers and colleagues describe me as a self motivated and hardworking individual. Many of my greatest accomplishments are driven from the challenges I have faced.
